So Marley is about 9 weeks old and has been crated every night i've had her. She has pooped in her bed several times and her crate is of very large size, but I put a small cooler to block off some crate. She pooped in it still so I took it out. Now when she does she just walks in it and has even started peeinh in there. How do I clear up that thats her bed and she shouldn't s*** in it

Does there seem to be a pattern? Is she peeing/pooping everyday, every night, everytime she goes in? After a walk, before a walk? After a meal?

at 9 weeks old she can only hold her potty for maybe 2 hours. take her out more and see if that helps. dont put her back in her crate until she potties outside, then when she does throw her a party every time she potties outside. at this age you will have a bunch of accidents which is normal

She's acting the way a 9 week old puppy should. Punishing her for pooping hours after she pooped will do absolutely nothing. Just take her out more often, and prepare to clean up poop until she gets older and can hold it.

She is just a puppy, mistakes will be made.
Is she home with anyone , or alone in her crate ? If someone is home with her. I suggest they take her outside every 30 minutes and praise her until the cows come home for doing a great job.
In the evenings after her meal, take her out to do business....when she does, praise , praise !! Again take her out before going to sleep for the night. If you awake during the night , take her out too. It's important to stay with her until her business is done.
Clean up her crate if it is messed-up again. Do not give her dirty looks , say anything to her , or make eye contact.
I would also like to add , that in cleaning the crate , make sure there is no ordor left , otherwise she will go to that same spot each time.
Best of luck !
