I am also going to reserve my thoughts on this for a bit until more comes to light. There are a quite a few issues going on here and many angles to look at this from, and I am sure there is going to be some heated and emotional discussion as more facts come to life. Undisclosed location, and HSUS being involved causes me to not have very good feelings about the fate of the pits.

I'm not concerned about their involvement at all, especially because AFF is involved. These two orgs did a great job with the Ohio dogs.

My concern is that they had less than cordial relations with Leah, whereas Best Friends had at least some semblance of a working relationship. I'm all for giving HSUS a chance to prove they aren't the total scum they once were, but I cast a wary eye.

no, no interiors at all. Some dogs in kennels.
they really only showed one dog that seemed to be in distress, right at the end.

The photos I've seen... the dogs don't look bad. Not like I expected. I figured I'd see photos of dogs in very poor condition. But no one has posted anything like that yet.

I, too will wait to weigh in regarding this sad day.

I have always been wary of HSUS before the mike Vick raid. Especially , during the evaluations and removals.

I agree with Michele , I too, hope Best Friends or ASPCA pushes them aside and lets the dogs be evaluaded by people who hav no agendas.
