my wife and I have been considering adopting another bully, Chance is 6 1/2 months old and is calming down and is paying more attention to his actions, i.e barking has decreased ALOT!
Anyway, we are thinking of getting a female, about 3 yrs of age. My question is, is this a good idea, should we wait until Chance is older, or just give up the idea of having another pup. i should mention that we have no yard to speak of, and we live in a 2 bedroom house.

Ideally, I would wait until Chance is older and determine his temperament with other dogs and get more training and socialization under his belt. But a 3+ year spayed female is the best way to go regardless. If you think you can handle a crate-and-rotate schedule pretty easily, you don't necessarily have to wait. If you ideally want the dogs to get along, I would wait.

That's kinda what I was thinkin too..i.e. wait till Chance is older, cuz I would like for the 2 pups to get along.. ;D Ideally, I would wait until Chance is older and determine his temperament with other dogs and get more training and socialization under his belt.
