Saxon is turning two on October 15th! For his birthday, I got him his all grown up, business man tie which you saw in the other thread. I also plan to bake him a peanut butter and pumpkin cake (which we can eat, as well) and I will probably get him some fun toys and things from PDog! In addition, I ordered him a new tag and a new Ella's Lead collar.
The tag will be his first fancy tag. It will have Saxon's name on the front along with a picture of Viking Compass. The symbol was once drawn on a person's forehead with blood to prevent them from getting lost, I think a tag will be better because it won't wash off in the rain. I like the meaning of the symbol and I also like that it looks similar to Anglo-Saxon Runes. Here's the tag:

I also ordered him a new Ella's Lead collar for him. They recently got a supply of Stafford Knots! The Stafford Knot is the symbol for Staffordshire, England where the Staffordshire Bull Terrier originated as a result it has become the measure for the breed, as well. Ella's Lead designed their "Staffordshire Collar" from a picture of an early Staffordshire Bull Terrier. ellaslead.com/inc/sdetail/4630/9892
I designed my own, which will be made of the vegan material and will an inch thick, the width of the top layer of The Staffordshire Collar. I would have gotten a thicker collar, but the knots aren't very big. Any way, I'll be sure to post a picture when it arrives!
Hopefully the collar and tag will arrive by his birthday!
