Hi there. Not sure what you mean by "original Pit Bull" - do you mean an American Pit Bull Terrier? It's really just guesswork if you do not have papers/pedigrees on the parents. The pup's parents may or may not be purebred American Pit Bull Terriers. Do you have any more information on these dogs? I'm sure members here would be happy to try to help

No, neither of those dogs look like AmStaffs.
Is this a breeder you are buying from, a private person who had an accidental litter, or...?
If you don't care about the background/pedigree of a dog you are getting, I'd strongly recommend looking into adopting from a shelter or rescue. What part of the world are you located in?

Welcome aboard! Your pup is adorable and the parents are gorgeous! What breed did the person you bought the puppy from say that it was? I doubt the dogs are pure bred American Staffordshire Terriers, as they aren't as common as American Pit Bull Terriers. While it is impossible to say for sure without papers, I would say the mom does look like she could be an APBT. The dad, on the other hand, looks like he could have some American Bulldog or Mastiff in him. Like I said, it's impossible to say for sure, especially with just one photo and no frame of reference for size. As for the pup, you never know how much they will change from puppy to adult. He's a cutie pie whatever he is!

Ok now I understand. How strict are they about enforcing that? I can tell you that here in the US if you live in a state that has Breed specific legislation and you own a dog that remotely looks like a pit bull it can be a problem but not sure how it works in Israel.
In any event the pup is a cutie!

but if the law says its a prohibited breed even if you register it differently they can still take it and kill it. why play with a dogs life likethat??
