I hate NOT taking Sedona on the Sunday hikes, but the trail we took today is a particularly demanding one. A workout for legs and cardio! Because Rocky loves these types, I decided this time was his turn. I left Lola at home, too. I bought booties for Rocky some time ago, but didn't try them on until a couple weeks ago to see if he'd tolerate them. I badly wanted a funny video of Rocky walking funny (I know, how could I tell?), but the doggone things actually made him walk more normal. Whooda thunkit? He needed them for the short walk on the road to the trail head. I took them off when we went off-road. He was very tolerant, actually ignored them. They were very easy to put on and take off. They will allow him longer walks around the neighborhood, too. We got there before everyone else, so I let him wander a bit. It was a small group today, I think the threat of rain scared most others away. It sprinkled a little before we got going, but the hike was dry. We were treated to an off-leash dog, and a family with three small children. That made me glad I didn't bring Sedona, as it would have shut her down the rest of the hike. They made Rocky's day, though. He was being loved up by all three kids, and I wish I had taken pics. We rested at the first summit. What a view. The rest of the hike was routine. Here are a couple of Rocky, and me. As close as three DINOS can get... Here are the rest... www.meetup.com/Sussex-County-Dog-Walking-Group/photos/11113352/166692582/

We did the same hike as last, to the tower. Didn't see a pavillion, though. We met two guys who were hiking to Buttermilk falls. They were going the wrong way, lol!
