Kaiha turns the big 02 next Saturday. She has grown up with pit bulls, and has no problems with mine. She mimics me by checking Winstons ears, teeth, and skin. It's pretty cute when she does it. She feeds them, pets them, sits on them, they share toys etc... she doesn't have any fear with them.
She doesn't care for Wrinkles because Wrinkles is not good with little kids, and earned Kai's dislike. Kai still tries to make friends with her, and will deal with her with the gate between her. But one on one, she gets upset, so I avoid it as much as possible.
It has come to light that Kaiha does not like small dogs. She is afraid of this tiny Yorkie at daycare. The little thing was minding her own business but Kai was fearful. She also is afraid of her neighbors Pomeranian. I guess the dog doesn't even have to do anything, and it freaks Kai out.
I find it a bit amusing that she can handle big dogs, but not small dogs. She hasn't freaked out over my neighbors dog Chica, she's a big dog, and she wasn't afraid of the other neighbors pit bulls either.
I'll have to work with her on her fearfulness. My friend has a small dog who is a sweet heart, so I'll try and use her to get her used to small furry things!
