Hello all. I am a Pit Bull lover and a wanna-be Pit Bull Mama. I have never personally been a Mommy of a pure Pit Bull, I had a Lab/Pit mix one time and she was the greatest dog ever. Unfortunately I lost her in my divorce

I am looking into rescuing a 2-3 year old girl right now. She's beautiful. I'd love for her to be part of my family.

My "Hippo" that I'm considering is such a sweetheart. I'm just a bit concerned because she was abused by her previous owner. Apparently she cowers into submission by a simple raised hand or loud voice. I'm nervous about bringing her into a home with 2 teenagers and 2 toddlers. I'm hoping to visit her tomorrow with the 2 toddlers to see how they interact. I'll post pictures if they let me take some.
