Parents are busy bringing kids to see Ole Saint Nick for Christmas presents, but a Portland store had dogs sitting on Santa's lap, not kids.

Planet Dog hosted an event Sunday where people could get their dog's picture taken with Santa. The snapshots benefit animal organizations across the country.

Planet Dog has given out $25,000 worth of grants over the past year.

This was the little boy's first time meeting Santa, he was suspicious of the big man's intentions:

The dog, on the other hand, wanted to go home with Santa!
