I hope that what they're saying is true and they're not just covering their butts. I've never been a huge fan of Heineken, but if there was proof that any brand I do like was sponsoring dog fighting, I'd stop giving them my money, for sure.

There are so many people in that picture... how can so many people be okay with just watching things kill each other? I guess humans do kind of have a sick history with that sort of thing, though... gladiators and such.

I hope this is not true. My question is , where did the signs come from if not from Heineken ?

When I found out the Hersey company supported Mike Vick, I phoned the company myself and asked if that was true. The woman on the phone verified they did support him. Right then and there I asked how a company like Hersey could support a individual who did what he did to innocent dogs ? No answer from her.

I informed her that bcause of their support of Mike Vick , I would no longer buy their candy...and that I would spread the word to others not to support thm either.

Well, their little apology thing said that they came from them and were for an event that had happened prior to the dog fighting... and Heineken didn't know anything about the fighting... and once they did, pretty much broke all ties with the place that is in the picture...

I had no idea that Hershey supported Vick... now I feel bad because I have a candy wrapper on my desk... Oh well, I like Nestle and unfortunately the expensive chocolate, too.

This picture has made the rounds a few times. It actually happened a few years ago. It seems every few months someone starts up sharing it again.

Yes, there was a list of companies that supported Vick. Besides celebs who supported him, to companies like FORD etc.. I must also add that some companies that had supported him before h made new, there were some products and companies that withdrew their support. I will look for the list if anyone is interested.

I stopped buying Hersey as soon as I got off the phone with that employee.
