One of the tasks Saxon is working on is a retrieve task, which starts out as "take" and "give." This task is more of a bonus than anything. I do have joint hyper-mobility which causes pain in my joints and sometimes makes it difficult to pick up dropped items, but Saxon is mostly being trained to mitigate my Anxiety and Depression. Any way, here he is fetching my slipper!

P.S. I just started training this task on Friday, so it's still very new!

Good Job Saxon! I taught Rocky this too bring him to post office. Friggen dog wont do it if I dont have a treat though. He also gets me tissue when I sneeze. That was fun he learned it right away. What he has learned from it is too bring me things when he really wants what I am eating. I also use him to help get up from my mailbox which is way down on the bottom. But I did not keep up with the training like you are so Rocky does it when he feels like it. My fault.

For being new at it, Saxon is doing great!
Maxine's idea of take and give would be "I'll take your slipper, run around the house with it, bring it back all slobbery and you still give me a cookie!"

great job! I do that with halo all the time, it was so cute fathers day she got daddy a card, we was upstairs daddy down. I gave her the card n said take it to daddy (thinking she would probally drop it n try to tear it open) to my surprise she took it head held high right downstairs and up to daddy and gave it to him. She was so proud so I made my descission then to keep it up
