Check out the newest post from the BS queen: www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151247275807161&set=a.58980062160.66583.716147160&type=1&relevant_count=1&ref=nfA list of phrases that serve as a RED FLAG that you're being spoon-fed pit bullsh*t by well-meaning but uninformed advocates. Ready, set, go..... Ok, I'll start: ... - "They used to be called the nanny dogs" - "All they need is love" - "The best breed ever" - "They just want to lick your face" - "You're more likely to get bit by a <<insert other breed>>" - "I have a 100-pound pit bull who is a lap dog" - "It's all how they're raised" - Anything that references "furbabies" or "pibbles" - "There are no bad dogs, just bad owners." What else?

My contribution: "There are no breed specific traits, and there is no such breed as a Pit Bull, but all Pit Bulls LOVE people and are super friendly." "pitbull" "pit bull type dogs" "'pit bull' dogs" "pitt bull"

Check out this comment (not written by the wolf, but not corrected by her either): "I don't think the "red flag" comments would be an issue unto themselves, except they leave the door open for asinine comments by idiots. For example, the "nanny dog" comment just gets the nut jobs riled up, and since there isn't any documentation on the terminology, it's a never-ending argument of speculation, so you are essentially starting a battle of wits with unarmed that no one can win. Likewise, "just how they are raised" makes the presumption that pit bull type dogs have a propensity for aggression that can be exploited by criminals, gang members, etc. This statement is true for all dogs, so why bring it up at all in an argument about "pit bulls"? "They just want to lick your face" opens the door to hysterical comments about news stories in which dogs have caused facial injuries (and, of course, all dogs who show aggression are "pit bulls" to these people, whether the dog in question is a 40-pound dog or a 115-pound dog). It just invites drama and hysteria. And any statements that calls "pit bull" a breed is also misleading. Right now, any mixed breed dog over 40 pounds in the U.S. can subjectively be called a "pit bull", and IS whenever a news source needs a ratings bump. That's my opinion."

I saw this post and just thought it was unnecessarily negative and snotty. She just likes to rock the boat and start fights, it seems. There are tactful ways of saying things, but she doesn't seem to want to be tactful. She wants to start a fuss so that she'll get more attention and comments.
