Well after a couple of months of trying to get Chance to walk "nice" on his leash, and a regular collar using all of Mary's and others methods...Chance walked for about 1 mile today 99% purfect.. ;D it was really nice to go for a walk w/o haveing to stop, sit and turn ect...i hope this continues on...oh I know, there will be good days and not so good days, but we'll keep working.

So thanks everyone..it's now a Joy to walk my pup.
BTW Chance will be 7 months in 5 days, and now weighs 51 lbs.

Way to go CHANCE!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! I know how hard you worked. Loose leash walking is really one of the most difficult things to teach your dog. You BOTH deserve clicks and cookies for all your effort!

Welp, just to confirm that todays walk wasn't a fluke, we went for another 1 mile walk again this evening, and while he wasn't as good as earlier today, he still did really well. The pulling has pretty much stopped, now we have to work on distrations and tracking. So..once again Thanks!!!!!!! ;D

btw, I haven't used any treats for 2 months..
