I love that once in a while we encounter open-minded people on our walks. Today I took Rocky and Lola on a local hike after I returned home from our regular Sunday hike with Sedona's friends. We came across a nice young couple on the trail that smiled as we passed, so I took the chance to tell them "they're friendly!" as we paused a second. They did approach, so I introduced Lola and Rocky. Lola did her usual aloof "I couldn't care less about you" deal, but Rocky just about crawled into the nice young lady's lap as she coo'ed over him. He gave nice little nose kisses, and pretty much refused to be ignored. He made her smile very large, and she was definately impressed with him. He is such a good breed ambassador, and I'm so lucky he chose me.
Later on, we encountered a nice couple with a mop head type dog. Rocky wanted to eat it. Oy.

Yeah, he's really good for me, too. Even at my shittiest shitty lows he can make me smile.
