Just a short video of some Public Access Training with Saxon at the mall! You'll see the he got the chance to practice one of his tasks, as well, when I began picking a scab on my chin and he interrupted the behavior. He's doing quite well with his training!

Oh this is so wonderful. I am curious, are you aware how much he checks in with you. Or do you see it more after looking at the video. Because now that I see your video I think Rocky checks in with me way more than I realize he does.

I knew that he checked in often, because I notice it at times, but I certainly noticed it more in the video! It's sort of weird to watch myself on video, lol!

I enjoyed watching it. He is going to do great. I am fascinated at how he paws you when you pick. I will be most impressed when the food reward is fazed out and he still works. I have never been able to completely faze out the food. I have to have at least one treat in my pocket and Rocky often must be aware of it or have a treat bag attached and he will work like there is no tomorrow. I have had him refuse to work because he knows I have nothing to pay him. He will even work for people he has never met if he sees a treat bag on them. He is such a friggen mooch. I swear.

We've gone out and about without treats before and he worked alright, didn't alert to my picking, though, but I may not have picked, I'm not usually aware when I do it.

I just realize I wrote faze instead of Phase. Anyway I wonder how long that can take to do away with food all together.
