Interesting hearing him talk about playing w the puppies.
Interesting reading all the "experts" comments on where bulldogs come from.

Were both sets of "twins" out of the same sire? The way he talks about their body styles being so different makes me wonder. I had a hard time listening to him, to be honest.

What is he talking about? Does he know what "twin" means? And excuse my ignorance, but can red dogs have blue noses?

What I got was two sets of twins from the same litter, each set m/f. One set gold, other set red. The red set blue nosed, the gold black nosed.

He may know a lot about "bulldogs," but I'm not impressed.

no seriously.. what is the concept of "twins" in dogs anyway? A human twin is 2 fetuses from one egg.
I'm lacking in dog biology: How many eggs in a female dog get fertilized and how do you know?

Good question Emily, here is a little info . linkI wasn't intending for this post to be controversial. The fact is whether you despise him or not he factors greatly in the history of game bred pit bulls. I am of the opinion that a lot can be learned from these dogmen. I also think it is important to embrace the history of our breed warts and all.

The history of the breed doesn't scare me. I don't understand people that get into these dogs and then are pettrified to read up on the past, ignore it, or just go changing it (like a lot of new advocates are doing now, trying to say the breed was a herding dog, or farm protection dog that was missused by some and "forced to fight"). I could say a lot against "dogmen", but I also learned a lot about the breed from oldtimers, not just about history but about what this breed TRULY should be. The gamebred dogs I've met and had are the standards I hold in my head when evaluating/choosing members of this breed for my home or for rescue placement. IOW, I agree with Perseus, above

Well, he sounds like a moron in this video. Sorry if that means that I don't appreciate the breed enough.

The history doesn't scare me either, it's sad for the sake of the dogs. But it is history, just like slavery. You can't ignore it, and you should learn from it.
