www.nybullycrew.org/Does anyone know anything about this org? My friend just contacted me about a dog they have, called Lipps (they are saying she was a 'bait dog'), she was recently returned to the rescue because she is too animal aggressive. The forward I saw said they had hired trainers and stuff, blah blah blah. The vid below shows the dog in a choke chain, so I'm guessing aversive techniques were used (horrible for animal-aggression issues, only makes it worse). Anyway, I might go up and see her, and do some training....not sure, my friend is orchestrating it. She looks like a sweety.....

Are Guardians of Rescue and NYBC connected in some way?

I don't think so. My first go around at that article made me think they were after another read I don't think they are connected. I am facebook friends with Robert from Guardians and don't see any affiliation with NY bully.

I got from the one article that Craig Fields or whatever his name is worked with GoR and then left and started NY Bully Crew. If you go on NYBC's website though, there is NO name of any person affiliated with them.

That's what I was hoping for, but so far, no one knows much. That's not necessarily bad or good, really, but I'll see if anyone responds to my posts for info tonight after they leave work.

Another connection of mine basically rehashed the Charlie thing. I've heard enough to make me stay away from them, TBH.

Yea, I hear ya. I haven't heard anything in the way of good or bad outside of this info, but I would feel the same way. I do also find it odd that none of my rescue and shelter friends in NY know much about them at all... most of the folks I know have been involved in rescue for years and know a lot of the other rescues in the area. To not know anything about them at all seems strange to me.

Well, some good news at least. Lips went back to her foster home. The home has renewed their commitment to her and will be working with my friend who is a positive trainer (Lips had gone to a board and train shock-n-choke trainer prior to this).
