nannydog.info/www.facebook.com/nannydoginfoI don't know how, but in my clicking about, I came upon the site linked above. There are only 18 likes and a few comments on the page. Turns out it's a thinly veiled Anti-Pit Bull site. It links to Craven's Desires, thetruthaboutpitbulls, Dogsbite, and several other anti-Pit Bull sites. Pretty clever, eh?

PBAM is playing dirty now, too! Rachele just bought the domain name "dogsbites.org" and is going to post up all of the attacks by other breeds that are reported on Demand Truth in Dog Bite Reports FB page.

I have a problem with PBAM because "they" (Rachele) seem to approve of aversive training techniques. Just can't get down with that.

She does approve of prong collars, yes. It's something she and I butt heads on, but we agree on so much more that I am willing to accept the fact that she thinks frongs are ok. I don't believe she uses them on her personal dog, but rather doesn't demonize others for using them.

Prongs are just such a bad thing for dogs prone to reactivity. Sigh. I do admit the aversive training thing is just something I can't get past. Just a personal thing. I don't really know anything else about PBAM, they have stuff on their website that's soooo similar to RPB. I also know they are solicting donations to become 501c3. You'd know more than me, Cat

I was recently made an admin on the FB page, so i probably do know a little more. I think they are just trying to reach a wider audience, but I agree that prongs can be a disaster on the wrong dog.

Most recently, she had the California APBT Asociation. Not sure what she was doing before that, though. I'll have to ask.

I think she had partnered with CHAKO, but not sure of she was actually a part of the org or not.
