This email just came in. If I didn't have the temp-foster cat, I would have been happy to take her in for the short-term. This is really sad, can anyone else help?

This is Trixie ~ she is an 11 yr old pit bull who has had a stroke but is in otherwise good health and great spirits -- until now.
You see, her mom just lost her own significant other. Adding to that, she has now been forced out of the home they shared, as it is owned by HIS BROTHER! Homeless, she is desperately trying to find a place to live where she can bring Trixie with her. She is devastated and needs HELP!
A safe haven is needed in the short-term for Trixie, who is her ultimate concern. In this day and age, with owners carelessly surrendering their pets due to a move, here's someone who's trying to do everything she can to keep her dog.
Trixie is GREAT with cats but not so good with other dogs.
Transport can be arranged!
