George is being a snuggle bug. Any minute, Matilda is going to try to join us in my desk chair and we are all going to tip over. I am now officially Mrs B

Great picture seamonkey! Congrats!
I am SO PROUD of Dharma. She had already made so much progress with thunder, and this was the first July 4th that she pretty much ignored the fireworks. She even WENT OUTSIDE last night, during the fireworks! She didn't exactly want to hang out in the yard, but she did her thing and acted pretty much like any other day. There was a little barking at some particularly loud bangs, but there was no running to her crate, no running around the house and into walls, no shaking, no hiding, not even much panting. We had the a/c, the air purifier fans, and the tv on so that covered some of the noise. But in the past she still has freaked out. Like, had to put her on Xanax to stop her from hurting herself type of freak out. Since she had been doing okay so far this year, we decided not to do Xanax. So glad we didn't, because she was a superstar all on her own! She got lots of high value treats and of course tons of snuggles.

So last night I'm laying in bed wondering why my bedroom is getting HOTTER AND HOTTER despite the AC being on. When I hear a "hissing" sound and low and behold my HEAT IS BLASTING out of ALL the radiators!! I have no ability to control the heat in my building, and I think my landlord is on vacation. NO idea what to do. I just can't even believe the heat came on.

He goes to Italy every summer so even though I could probably reach him, he's the only one that can do anything with the heat.
Thanks for the link!

Who the hell turns the heat on in July?
the woman who owns Grumpy cat got to bring her to south by south west and currently has a movie deal. I've currently got biter cat #1, biter cat #1, the nose biter, the neurotic 3am wailer, $90 data overage foster kitten, and one we have to peel off the curtains.
No one has called me yet

Most dogs at my weekend job hate the blow dryer. I had a goofy boxer today who kept head butting me to blow him on the head and licking my face if I got the dryer anywhere near his head. When his mom came and picked him up, we were talking and apparently when she is blow drying her hair, he also requests to be blow dried and when she is vacuuming, he wants to be vacuumed

When I got home from my trip last night the dogs were super excited to see me. (of course) Winston is so goofy. He kept touching his nose to my skin, clothes, etc. Not like a dog shoves their nose in your crotch.. but just touching me. Cleveland jumping, trying to get all of my attention. I noticed that my house smelled of eau de dogge. Need to clean the carpets again. Aside from febreeze, scentsy pots, not sure what else to have a nice smelling home when I have two smelly dogs.
