Love how several of the older people in my building want to have their pics taken with Chubby. Apparently he is the first pitbull most of them have ever gotten so close to (let alone actually petted!!) and in their words "No one I know believes I play with a pitbull, I need a picture of his sweet face so they see I'm not lying!"
He's been in about four pics already with various people, and more keep missing his walk time and want to have their camera phone pics taken with him.

I like Maryellens idea. lol
I'm glad that you and Chubbs are able to give your neighbors a good experience with the breed.
My poor daughter had a major panic attack last night over a spider. She didn't wake me up to deal with it (the spider) like she usually does. Today she is still feeling sick from it. To make matters worse, she accidentally washed her paycheck last night. We leave on vacation next Friday and she's worried and embarrassed to call her boss. I re-assured her he's probably heard it before, and that no, they won't keep her pay.
I just hope she gets a new check before we leave. She won't be coming back with us. She's flying out of Denver to go see her dad in Clearwater, Fl and won't be back until Aug.

I hate spiders, too. Last summer at a friends house we were in the back yard when someone noticed a mess of them in the tree above me. "Screaming like a girl" now defines me.

My ex hates spiders. He'd scream like a girl too. Due to the nature of our relationship, I enjoyed watching him scream.

Not sure Chubby could be a therapy dog. If you have food he will try to grab it, and his ball craziness makes me concerned about ball-shaped things in a therapy type of setting. Other than that, I would love to train him to be one. But his ball issue is slowly (very slowly) getting better. He still reacts, but not 'crazy crack-head' levels of it. Now he just looks and leans in that direction, but recovers much faster than he used to.
Melonie: I've been in your daughter's shoes in rg. to the paycheck. I accidentally tossed it out with some useless papers and was freaked out because I thought that I wouldn't get paid now. I kinda thought that paychecks were like cash where once its gone, its gone.

I'm enjoying the movie in my head right now, the one where the old man with the walker shuffles by Chubs while he's therapy-ing. You know, the walker with the tennis balls on the feet. Whee!

Cleveland has a ball issues too. His over zealousness got my fingers crunched the other day. You even mention ball and he goes on high alert. If you just happen to not pay attention to the sandwich/cracker/chip in your hand, he might steal it from you given the chance.
I can just about imagine what it would be like to have two ball crazy food thieving dogs would be like.

Oddly enough, Jason was walking Chubby about two weeks ago when a young boy who is blind heard his tags clinking, asked him mom if there was a dog and when she said there was, he asked his mom if Jason would let him pet Chubby. Jason was super scared because the little boy has one of those long cane things with a rolling ball at the end (don't know what they are called). Jason was scared Chubby would try and go for the ball-thing. Well, Chubby walked up to the little boy and was super gently with him and licked his hand and stayed very still while he got petted. The only complaint was the little boy's hand was all slobbered now, lol.
Not sure if Chubby would show that kind of restraint with a tennis ball on a walker! Or, as Jason figures, "that dog is going to pop open someone's bag of saline right off the hanger! Or worse yet, steal their pudding cup!"

I can just about imagine what it would be like to have two ball crazy food thieving dogs would be like. Cleavland is Chubby's brother from another mother!! OMG, the hell those two would raise all kinds of heck...stealing all the food and knocking over sweet little old ladies for their tennis ball walkers!

I got banned from an SBT page for correcting their misinformation. I was annoyed, so I took a screenshot and shared it on my profile. My step brother saw it and left a supportive and sarcastic comment on the topic. I never would have expected it from him and it completely made my night. The page then deleted the topic, which was pretty much my goal all along. This is probably one of the nicest things Drew's ever done for me, we used to be close when we were younger, but haven't been close in the last 6 or 7 years. He was actually pretty cruel to me for a while, which is why this was so unexpected and wonderful. I'm happy to see that he is coming back around and I hope that we can soon be good friends like we were when we were little.

Matilda loves balls, but I don't think she has quite figured out fetch yet. We were playing fetch and I was throwing it and she was bringing it back, then she brings it back and I throw it and she looks at me like I just stepped on her or something
