Got rufus in pool again lol he was baking in the sun and wouldnt go in the house so we dragged him in the pool again

After seeing eye dr and spending over$300 for contacts, exam and glasses i can see lol i also got new glasses and had them add bifocals to them so i dont have to lift the glasses to read lol.... I feel old now

My uncle Mark died and I may head down to Texas in a couple of weeks or there may not be a funeral or maybe there'll be one in November or maybe next year or maybe Christmastime. I'm going nuts. I just want a plan so I can know what to do!

Thank you friends. He was developmentally disabled. Never really progressed passed 2ish. He had a lot of health problems and we didn't really see much of him. He was kind and he liked trucks and cars. He liked to sweep and rake. And now it looks like we aren't even going to Texas for a funeral.  They aren't even going to have one until... I don't know when. Thanksgiving maybe, which is the very worst time to travel. His body has been donated to science and won't be back until 6 months to a year from now. So long. With my grandpa it was only 4-6 weeks. So, I guess we're kind of in limbo for now. It doesn't really seem real. |

sussex county fair ends tomorrow.. i just took a ride to shop rite (20 min away) and rt 206 and rt 15 are bumper to bumper with people going to the fair. the local horse farm opened up their one pasture for parking for the fair as there is no parking as everyone is up here for this beautiful day at the fair....

Hubby sent me this photo yesterday. I love it because it's something I'll want to show our future kids and grandkids someday. I used to love seeing my dad and grandfather in their uniforms. Oh, and I also think he looks pretty cute if you ask me  (No judgies...it's been a lonely year!)  |

well going to be longer to get a new laptop. rufus has a tumor in the corner of his eye that needs to be removed, just got back from the vet and surgery is scheduled for this coming friday. the vet said its probably not cancerous, but it needs to come out as it will affect his eye if i leave it in and it will cause more trouble down the road.. so surgery is set for this friday grrrrr....

at least the dr who is doing the surgery did his past 2 surgeries lol..i asked for a 3 surgery discount hahaahaaaa... its in the corner of his eye and sticks out like a hummingbird flower- tubelike.. it was not that big a few weeks ago and had a pimple type head on it all red then burst (he had blood in his eye from it bursting ) then it went away and now its back and bigger then before.. the first vet i took him to said it was a stye..and that i could have it removed. she fluffed it off . but when it came back bigger i decided to go see my regular vet and he said it was not a stye.. i took a pic of it but am on the bf's laptop and for some reason i cant upload the pic from my imageevent . the vet said its probably not cancerous as they usually arent, but if i leave it in it will cause more damage down the road and i want to avoid that.
