Does it seem to bother him at all? Sounds like it would be really irritating.
And lol at the multi-surgery discount! We've told our vet we deserve to have one of their operating rooms named after us after all the surgeries they've done on our dogs.

it doesnt bother him at all, he doesnt paw at it or even acknowledge it which is good. if it wasnt going to do any future damage to his eye i would have left it, as it looks like a big red pimple in the corner but all i read online and the vet said it will cause future damage to his eye down the road and thats the only reason i am getting it taken out. i figure a $400 bill now with his eyesight staying good vs a larger bill down the road and possible losing vision in that eye and more problems is better to get rid of it now

the vet said its a Meibomian gland tumor and that they are normally not cancerous which is good.. he will have it sent out for testing anyway just to make sure, since it grew very fast in 3 weeks and he wasnt thrilled about that as it can hit the lymph nodes

A gorgeous pit bull showed up at the rescue we sometimes foster for today. I asked his foster mom what his story was.
She pulled him from animal control right before he was going to be euthanized because his owner dumped him there because.......wait for it....he wouldn't duck hunt with him
I hate people

Is anyone familiar with the Companion Animal Protection Society? They seem to focus primarily on puppy mills and unethical breeders. There is a local group that has been protesting a puppy store near my office and I finally had time to stop and chat with them on my way home from work the other day. I checked out their website, but I'm wondering if anyone on the forum has any experience with or knowledge of the group.

I don't think so ME. It looks like they've been around since the 90s. They have several class action law suits against puppy mill operators. The volunteer I spoke with told me they were involved in getting the ban passed on sales of puppy mill dogs in Los Angeles.

Ya'll care to guess how this little monkey showed up at work today? We foster and work with biters, so I have scratches every where. The other night, Matilda goes charging out the front door while George is taking his time and I've got both of them on a leash and I get slammed into a wall, so I've got bruises.
then last night, I was taking my shoes off while George was standing on my night stand and I have no idea what happened, but his head met my upper lip and now I have a massive busted lip
