Wrinkles has been playful and instigated play with me the last two days. It is very heart warming. It's comical in that she is so awkward, and has no idea her body crashes actually hurt.

Karma has been ADOPTED!! Yay!! ;D
As I got to know her, I grew an image in my mind for her perfect home. I pictured a single woman, possibly with or without kids. A home owner. And shed maybe have a large male dog or small dog. And obviously a big dog lover.
Well, that's exactly where she went. Single mom with a daughter, she has an old Poodle, and loves big bully breeds and she owns her home and insurance accepts Karma. Win, win.
Soo happy for my karma girl!!!
So for now we are without any rescue dogs and I plan on taking a small pause from it. Just to get my head and heart straight after the loss of Tonka.

George's crate is on one side of the room and Matilda's is on the other due to space reasons. George runs in his crate when I go to work and Matilda begrudgingly goes in hers.
This morning, I was going to feed the dogs and they have to be separated because George will try to steal Matilda's food. George had pushed his food bowl all the way to the back of his crate and he has a large crate, so I was on all 4's retrieving the bowl.
Matilda decided that was the perfect time to take a flying leap from the top of my bed, and land 45 lbs worth of pit bull puppy directly on my spine

Aaaah!!
My neighbor called to tell me that our other neighbors had been robbed! It turns out that the nicest house on the street leading to mine was broken into when the family was home. The owner is an ex-cop, and he has a wife and a disabled daughter. He heard noises, went down to the basement to find 2 burglars! Thankfully they fled when he found them. The house next door was also hit but the owners were away at their summer home.
I'm a little ticked that this happened over a week ago and no one thought to tell me! Everyone knows that I'm up here alone! So now I'm going to have to lock all my doors and windows like normal people do :/
We have several guns around the house in case there's a fox or coyote going after the animals, and I guess now I have to worry about humans! Not fun!

Very Scary stuff Allison!!!!
I have anxiety about someone breaking into our house and me being here. Very scary!!!
I'm sure if you lock the doors and windows you'll be fine with the crew you have. Remember people think Pit Bulls are savage beasts!!

Just asked a customer what kind of dogs she has and she responded, "A dorkie and a chorkie."

And I hope your response was something like, "Oh, so mutts? Cool. I'm glad you rescued."
Her:.....Silence......

My response was, "What does that mean?" She claims that they were rescues and the rescue group called them by those names...

Well then hopefully she's just dumb enough to think that they are a breed! I'm glad she didn't buy from a mutt breeder!
It took me a second for dorkie :/

Went and groomed 30 dogs today for a 'commercial breeder' AKA puppy miller. .... Very sad..... Dogs are livestock to them. There was a 10 year old Shitzu that I told himi will take. He puts them to sleep when they retire. She's totally blind, possibly deaf, teeth are rotten his response..... Give me a month to think about.it... I may breed her one more time. Puke.... Soo sad and she was soo sweet. I fell in love with her. Wish I could give her the retirement she deserves. I'm sure she'll be bred one more time them put to sleep..

My cat likes to sing the song of his people when I have a migraine or 3am when I'm trying to sleep.
I think my favorite night was when I was sleeping off a migraine and he starts howling and wakes me up. I go back to sleep and he gets in bed with me and tries to sleep on my face. I remove him and try to get back to sleep, so he tries to sleep behind my head on the pillow. I finally get back to sleep and he wakes up and horks on my pillow
