I've been doing so great for the last six months but I find myself slipping back into depression mode again. Sorry Annie. You have been a lot with the pups lately sure that is not helping.

I've been doing so great for the last six months but I find myself slipping back into depression mode again. I understand, I myself go through months were everything is great and then out of nowhere I can't even get myself out of bed. When you start feeling low, just remind yourself this will pass and you are going to be ok. I had to tell myself that in the mirror many times just to try and make it through the day. You are loved. You are a good and kind person. You have lots of people that love you. You are going to be ok.

Broke down today and went to the dr. to get some sleeping pills. First time in my life. Hopefully I'll resemble a rational, well rested human being again soon.

Thanks for all the positive vibes! Everyone here is so easy to talk to. Its nice to know I have a place where I can vent and know-how I won't be chastised for it.
Love you all!

We're all easy to talk to because we're all the same amount of crazy But you're right, we all vent to each other and come out better for it. So if you're having a bad day, vent away!

People on other dog forums are really dumb. I was googling raw goat milk for dogs to see popular opinion and stumbled across some replies from the kind of people who have 0 information, but a big fat opinion.
"You can give your dog goat milk from the store but just don't ever buy that raw stuff! It has all that bacteria in it and it'll make your dog very sick!"...Your dog eats poop and licks his own crotch. Yes, definitely stay away from "milk germs."
"Why would anyone want to drink milk that isn't pasteurized? That's disgusting. Give him yogurt instead because yogurt contains probiotics."....and raw milk contains, what, exactly? Pieces of butthole?
"Goat milk has 11g of sugar in it. That's 11g more than Mr. Fluffy needs!" OK, so I added the Mr. Fluffy name for effect. But still, really? I'm sure he's never had a lick of peanut butter in his life.

Yep, I've seen it in pet specialty stores. I've had a few people ask me for it but they are always too far away for me to make it worth the price. When we move back to PA, I'll be able to sell to HUMANS! Yesssss!

I had a sleep study done and I have chronic insomnia and restless legs. What's super fun is that everything in the ambien family makes me hyper. I had my gall bladder out in june, and they put the stuff in my IV and told me to start counting backwards and 5 minutes later, I was still complaining about how much that stuff burned and they were all whispering "why isn't she out yet??" and wound up having to dose me again. I read somewhere red heads are hard to knock out

I read somewhere red heads are hard to knock out I took it for the first time last night. I was awake until 4 am. Got up at 9 to let the dogs out and feed them, then crashed again until noon. That 5 hour stretch was nice. Just wish it had happened at 11pm when I took the pill! Usually I am pretty sensitive to any sort of medication. I can't take pain killers due to the horrible nausea I get with them. If I'm in the hospital they will give me an anti-nausea shot, otherwise I just tough it out and take advil.

I had to try several sleeping medications and go seriously off label to get some sleep.
Also, there is a fried chicken place down the road from my house. Some heathen is walking down my dog walking route and just tossing chicken bones.
Do you know how hard it is to pull 35 lbs worth of pit bull puppy away from a chicken bone??

I love auctions! All types are fun; especially farm and produce auctions!
You can actually find some quality livestock at auction if you look hard enough. My goat breeder sends most of her kids to auction because she has so many and doesn't have the time/energy to deal with selling them all individually. Of course others view it as a dumping ground for sick and low production stock, so you just have to know who to talk to to find out what's coming from where and why.
