Here she is, 17 and does not act her age lol.... got her this morning, brought her home, then to vets for deworming meds, met the dogs, rufus tried to play with her and was play bowing.. some pics and videos... she weighs 39 lbs and is a tiny mix of some sort, the vets office and one woman there said staff/something mix, she could be husky /staff /pit who knows... her fur is course like a pit bulls but longer then rufus's... she already christened my dining room floor by peeing on it this morning even after i had her out for a while lol containment is going to be very tricky, she plowed thru the xpen like it was a blade of grass... i might have to gate rufus and sadie in the bedroom and give honey roam of the upstairs and just gate off the living room and basement stairs... talkimng smack to me already and some videos:

What a cutie pie! Is she a foster or are you keeping her for the rest of her days?

I imagine she's letting you know the crap she's been through the last few weeks, and then sassing you for trying to block her off.

the shelter knows her history, she lost her one owner at 12 when the owner died and she was adopted again and had new owners for 5 years until now

She really must have been something else in her heyday as she seems younger then 17. She looks good and lively.

she doesnt stop lol.. all she wants to do is walk... she is probably confused about where she is.for her age she is giving me a run for my money lol. i am guessing its a combo of husky in her and being confused about the places she has been recently

tomorrow she will be all alone for most of the morning. totally alone ... no dogs, no humans.. this should be interesting. she has bad Separation anxiety.... i am going to close all bedroom doors and gate off the basement stairs and living room and she gets the kitchen, dining room and hallway... i hope she does ok while we and the dogs are all gone. she panics when i take the dogs in the backyard so tomorrow is going to be tough, but she has to get used to it as monday we go back to work, the dogs will be gated in our bedroom and she gets the run of the few rooms up here

today she decided to just flop on the grass outside and roll around while we were walking... twice.... i think she is happy.. she loves the tennis balls, and now sasses me if i dont pay attention to her lol.... she still doesnt like to be alone in the house, and will bark for a long time . if a human or dog is here she is fine, but if no one is around she barks nonstop

She seems like she's settling in nicely and I love that she is sassy and happy!!
And, as a side note, helloooo Rufus!! He's a hunk! I love that he play bows, then stops and waits and then does it again with more noises. Super cute!
