Hello ALL,
All my/our previous dogs were Dobermans since 1969. Dobe's had a bad rap all of those years that was not the case. As PITBULLS have taked their bad rap, I/we decided to go with the new literal underdog. Molly is one precious critter as you can see from her avatar/picture. On top of everything else she is extremely attentive and extremely intelligent.
Her pic/avatar shows her at 8 months old. I saw her mother when I got her at 6 weeks and her markings are a perfect match. I chose her from the litter because her mother was so well behaved even though I was handling 4 or 5 of her pups with no outward reaction or alarm. That being said I should have asked more about her father as she is already 55 lbs., and solid muscle, making her tough to hold on a leash. We live in the country on 2-1/2 acres, so she is allowed to run around the property. So far so good, she stays when told to sit, stay, lie down. I can leave her at place by on the property borderline and she will stay even though I walked 200 + feet and go into the house.
She has an 8 year old brother named TOBY who is also a very precious critter that meow's. Toby still rules the roost and we have detected no malice from either one.
Needless to say as retired elder's these 2 bring us great joy.
