Hi Everyone!
I have just recently join this forum, my first forum to say the least. Still learning the ins and outs (thank goodness I have a geek for a husband
I have two pitties. I have a 4 year old male, Owen and a 2 year old female, Masey Mae. They are completed opposites. Owen is a 61lb lap dog and is a stocky boy (short legs, big chest and big head). Masey is a more on the leaner side, aboutg 40lbs, taller and leaner. I think she is mixed with a boxer. They both are rescues. Owen came to me when he was about 8 months old and looked like a total dork, but now has turned into a handsome young man. Maisey came into my life when she was 12 weeks old and she was a just adorable little girl and has turned into bigger adorable girl.
I am happy to find this forum. I am sure I will meet a lot of great people and have really good conversations about a breed that is very conterversal in the public eye.
When Owen came into our household, my daughter at the time was 2 and my mother-in-law was mortified that we brought a pit into our home. He has been nothing but wonderful to her, except when he steals her toys for attention. Needless to say my mother-in-law has come around and accepted him.
I look forward to being apart of this forum.
