Hello everyone, my name is Tina and I'm from Illinois. I fell inlove with this breed in 2003 when I got my first APBT. In 2006 I got my first "show" dog. I look forward to meeting all of you and I want to thank you for allowing me to be apart of the board!

Welcome to the forum, i see on your website you have some breedings going on, and some available pups.. yet i dont see any of your dogs with any titles, or any important health testing like OFA, CERF, CARDIO, etc... do you do health testing and titling of your dogs?

We plan on health testing our females here real soon, just called the vet to set up an appointment for hips, elbows & patellas. They don't have the equiptment for the heart test so I'll have to find another vet for that. We currently have one UKC champion, her name is Kali, we are working on another Champion title on our girl Ginger, she has two conformation wins and 50 points. She is actually scheduled to be health tested here in the next couple months. Our vet is pretty booked so we have to work the dogs in We are currently training for agility, I've got some of the equiptment ordered lol expensive stuff it is lol. But yes we do put titles on our dogs and do health test.

your vet does that kind of testing? i always thought you had to go to a specialist.. have you looked on the OFA website? they have clinics all over, and the prices are much cheaper to do the clinic then the regular vet, plus its better.. i know that the prices are cheap the more dogs they get to register, so it might only cost you a few hundred rather then a few thousand.. here is the OFA calendar of events, maybe there is something near to you that you can sign up for offa.org/calendar.htmland here is the CERF events schedule www.vmdb.org/upcomingCERFclinics.htmland here is the site for the TT testing, they fill up quick so if there is one near you sign up asap www.atts.org

I had my regular vet do my GSD's hip Xrays for OFA.

Yup our vet does it, thanks Mary for the links, I acutually have them saved already in my favorites! Our vet charges $350 a dog for the testing. The only thing they can't do is the heart.
