Saxon passed his Service Dog eye exam this morning! And afterwards we went to IHOP with two other SD handlers, it was a nice day! In the waiting room: Dilated eyes: At IHOP with Barley and Friday: Rockin' the shades because his eyes were hurting from the sun:

Just wanted to add a couple of pictures taken by my friend! Saxon and I in the waiting room. This is right after he got the drops in his eyes, so he's pretty uncomfortable: My friend with her SDiT, Friday, someone we met at the vet's office with his SD (who actually growled at Saxon for getting to close to him, which Saxon didn't react to) and Saxon and I in the background: A picture at IHOP from the other side of the table. Notice how both Saxon and Friday's eyes are still super dilated:

Poor little guy. I didn't know they needed an eye test.
A coworker of mine got her Am. Bulldog SD certified by paying $250 for a vest and a certificate. Cheater.

A lot of people do that. :/ Unfortunately, most of those people don't bother to train their dogs and cause a lot of problems for legitimate SD teams. Is your coworker actually disabled or did s/he just do it so the dog could go in public?

Awww what a good boy Saxon is. I didn't know, either, that eye exams were required.

They may not be for all programs, but mine requires them and the ACVO offers free eye exams every May for Service Dogs.

Cat, she did it so it would allow her to bring her dog anywhere. She doesn't need a service dog. We don't talk about dogs anymore.

I've run into a few people like that. It's really upsetting and there's not too much that can be done.
