I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Elaine and I rescued a pitt at the age of 3. Emma is now 9. I started a dog treat company called, Just Because for dogs, as a result of her obesity, as she was used as a breeder. Emma, is the sweetest dog I have ever had, as most of them are. We need together to stop the stereotyping of the breed. Within my family we are the proud owners of 5 rescued pitts, and the best dogs ever. I have come across many people that say "it's how they are raised", I don't believe that. My Emma was kept in garage for almost 3 years and new nothing except for breeding. It is just not in their nature. My daughters 2 pitts grew up in a shelter and are amazing. They are the most loyal dogs.
