For quite a while now I've simply not participated on dog boards although I love dogs and have several. Here in the South there is a stylized dance called the 'Boot Scoot Boogie'. It is intricate yet predictable, and that is what dog talk had become, as I saw it. Everyone had their cherished opinions, and if you mentioned just a few trigger words 'BSL' 'ear crop' 'aggression', it was like watching the Boot Scoot Boogie, people would not actually listen to what you were trying to get across but instead, they went into the dog equivalent of the Boogie and presented what they had to say. Thank you for all the welcomes!!! I was going to lurk, but I'm not good at that, after all, when you come to a place that has so much in the way of knowledge and experience, not asking questions is not taking advantage of things that might help your dogs.
I might have to go, though. I don't think my pb is a rpb 100%. But if I can stay anyway I'd be grateful.

What makes you think you have to have a purebred to be here? We have people with mixes, lots of people on this board have dogs that aren't Pit Bulls, too.

I do have other dogs that are not pbs, and I think Misha is a mix. I guess after I pondered the name of the board, I was not totally sure what the 'real' stands for.
But so far, all the people who I have seen post are real folks (that's a compliment here in the south).
