This guy took over for a local trainer who passed away. When I first adopted George I called and asked everyone who's training class they recommended and they told me Dick Russell. I took him to class and was immediately told to get a pinch collar and bring hot dogs to class. George is small and one night he decided he was done with hot dogs and didn't want to take class anymore, so this guy stood over my 20 lb dog yanking up on a choke chain and screaming sit at him and George had no idea what was going on.

I met Larry at my weekend job when someone came in with a rescued Shiba who had been thrown out of a truck in front of his house and the dog had a lot of fear issues. The dog had a leash pulling problem and I was trying to telling what I had learned in the Karen Pryor training I put George in after I decided I was no longer doing ANYTHING with pinch or strangle collar. George responded to the Karen Pryor training and quit pulling on the leash (unless there is a squirrel)

This Larry guy barges over and starts talking over me and introduces himself as the new Dick Russell and tells this guy the only way his FEARFUL Shiba is going to stop pulling is if he puts a big ol choke on her and just yank the crap out of it every time she pulls
