I cannot imagine spending that money on a leash or a collar, especially one I couldn't get a comfy grip on and would likely tear my hands up. Also - and I know this is my own hang up - but the collars remind me too much of choke chains.
Neat idea though and I can certainly see some people going nuts for these.

My concern with the collars would be hair getting caught in them and pulling, I can't imagine them being too comfortable. The lead, on the other hand, I like the grip on.

To be honest I am not a fan of them. The collars remind me choke collars. The grip on the leash I might be ok with but not made out of stainless steel. I would think you hand could slip very easily with the stainless.
I do however, appreciate the craftsmanship.

Meh, I'd be more willing to put down that kind of money for a well worked leather piece vs. the metal. I'd be more likely to purchase a collar or lead like that for myself rather then for Maxine. Can definitely see fur being pulled or skin being rubbed the wrong way.
