Does anyone here have a severe weather plan for their animals?
Last year we didn't have a storm season, and this spring is making up for it. I was stuck at work the other day when it got a little scary here. I realized we had no real plan set up. I know what I would do if I were home, but not if I were at work and Aryn was home alone, or if the dogs were alone. So I've come up with a start of a plan.
So many little thing to consider... Like now until fall the dogs will wear collars 24/7. I'm considering getting a muzzle for Cleveland because he gets so excited and wound up. We don't have a basement so we would go to the court house or my friend Meredith's house. Either place would have new animals. Cleveland may take it all in good stride but who knows what the stress of others will do.
Anyways what all do you do to prepare?

I've thought of this after seeing the devastation in OK, too.
Granted, in my super hilly area, I don't fear tornadoes much, but it still makes you think.
I'd be hard pressed to do much if I was here by myself. There's no way I'd be able to drive anywhere with the 5 dogs, since they'd brawl all together. I would probably end up hunkering down in my basement or the basement of the barn, or even in the ditch at the bottom of the property.
The livestock, well, I'd probably just open the gate and let them run to wherever instinct told them.
