www.thedogrun.com/The_Dog_Run_2013/Click_%26_play_your_way..htmlThis trainer was recommended to me by the wife of the behaviorist who treated George. They were a team. He was a veterinary behaviorist and she was a Karen Pryor trainer and they helped George a lot. I've tried some of the things that worked with George that I learned from them with Matilda and they have been utter failures, so I'm looking for some help. The trainer and the behaviorist have moved to another state, so they can't treat any of my dogs any more. Matilda is not aggressive at all and if she doesn't want to finish her food, she will just sit there and watch while my foster kitten goes to town before I pick it up. She just quite hasn't figured out yet not every moment is happy fun play time including when I'm trying to work with her

They look really cool. I like how they are selling clicker training to the public.
Are you looking for a new trainer now?

dont feed matilda her food for meals. use it for training.. watch how fast she becomes attentive to you.. on another board i am on another member does this with her new pups/dogs and only feeds them their meals A. by hand and B. only when training. so the dog learns real fast to work for their food. once the dogs learn the training she goes back tofeeding from a bowl on the ground.. until that point its clicker and treat pouch filled with dogs dinner and breakfast..

Are you looking for a new trainer now? yes, i am looking to put her in training pretty soon. i've emailed tammy the trainer and she adopted a pit mix around the same time I adopted Matilda. Hers is a pit beagle mix and we still have no earthly idea what's in Matilda's DNA other than it must be goofy as hell
