So the WH posted a response to the "end BSL" petition:
petitions.whitehouse.gov//response/breed-specific-legislation-bad-idea

I thought this was a meaningless petition, since there will never be federal legislation on bsl.

BUT! the response was actually great, so I thought I'd see if we could get some WH response on something they could actually DO something about; breed bans on military housing.

So please sign and share this one:

If it gets enough signatures the WH HAS to respond (that's their rule)

thanks... I'm also not a believer in these petitions, but since the WH took a stand on BSL...

again, asking everyone to SHARE on FB and to SIGN!!! It needs 100k in 30 days signatures to trigger the mandatory response

there's a person on Jessup's forum who fell in love with it and is pushing it hard (and more successfully than me!) over 700 signatures now and growing.! Goes by the handle of "back2basic". I don't know who he is.

It turns out the previous petition, which was started in Dec 2012 only had about 30k signatures when the WH responded. So either they ignored their own rule about needing 100k for a response, or changed their standard... Maybe there's a secret pit bull lover on their staff!

Saxon's picture has been shared a lot, hopefully it's gotten a few signatures. It seems that more than one person thinks that the White House's response means that BSL is now over, even though I very clearly wrote that they can't end BSL. I guess some people just see what they want to see... It has 841 signatures now, so hopefully it'll make it!
