connectwithyourk9.com/a/really, is there any such thing as "purely positive" in which NO correction is used ... not even removal of the positive? These articles bug me because not only are they wilfully ignorant of what operant condition is (not that I really understand the quadrants... ), they set up the total red herring specifically to justify the socalled "balanced" (i.e. we'll cause pain but only sometimes) method.

Oh F. Tyler Muto. He spends more time talking about how "purely positive" trainers are causing behavior problems and killing dogs than he does actual helping anyone. He's one of those people that, rather than just being stuck in the past using outdated methods, he is going out of the way trying to persuade people against the use of R+ methods because he needs to feed his ego and needs a power trip.
