I decided to suck it up and start walking at night again. I didn't feel like driving into town and walking, and I figured if I just walked the main road twice I could get in a mile. It went pretty well, a bag caught their attention, then a bunny. But both times they stood down easily and didn't pursue the objects of interest.
Then, not even a block away from home, this little Pomeranian that has been tormenting my dogs, came running up behind us.
That little sh!t didn't bark, came nose to nose with Winston and wouldn't back the hell off. He kept bouncing back and forth dodging my dogs. Who haven't yet barked, but they finally pulled me off my feet, dragged me across the concrete. I finally got them to stop and regained my feet and made it to the side of the road, knocked off my feet again and pulled along the gravel drive way. When they stopped I tried to throw rocks at the little dog to scare it off. (hah!) Everytime I got on my feet my dogs pulled me off them again. I didn't know how the hell I was going to get away from the little dog and make it home. lol
Finally I got my phone out and called my ex who lives up the street. He pulled up and the little dog took off.
He was laughing at me. (ahole) We loaded up my dogs and he took me home. Just as I got both dogs out of the car, here comes the little sh!t head dog. This time my dogs start barking and knock me off my feet again and Cleveland tried to re-direct on Winston. My ex got out of the car and got Cleveland and got him in the house. Once Cleveland was away from Winston, he calmed down and trotted inside with me.
My ex apologized for laughing at me and said that was too much dog for him. lol It wasn't easy getting Cleveland inside.
That little Pom has been running around here for two weeks. My daughter caught him last night and said he was matted and skinny. I told her to try and catch him again. We're outside city limits so the police can't impound it, but there are plenty of people who would like the little fluffy terror.
I think I have to go see my chiropractor tomorrow. Pretty sure I messed up my shoulder and hip. I have road rash on my legs, arm and hand. Leash burns on my hands, and one of my fingers hurts like hell.
But I didn't let go of my dogs.
