"save them ALL"???? really? There are always going to be exceptions... and that's certainly true of the "(not really) no kill" mantra which has been pretty thoroughly exposed as a fraud.
If people would stop trying to game the English language so they can deceive the public and themselves, they could just focus on what's important, which would of course be not killing animals for reasons of minor health/behavioral problems, breed, size or color.
Oddly enough, what Brent's group in KC is very close to achieving.

I totally get where you are coming from, Emily. You and I have pretty much identical views on the "no kill" issue. I do have to say that I like what this blog is trying to get across in terms of language (which I believe is really important and can be empowering or defeating), and I think we've even talked about it here, how "no kill" is two negative words, and inaccurate anyway, and that a new term needs to be created.
So yeah, maybe "save them all" is the opposite end of the spectrum and still not accurate/could be misleading, but I guess I like the value/feeling behind it better than "no kill", and it certainly has a more positive air to it.
Dunno, just ramble-y this morning.
