Anyone have any experience with these? They are just made from yak's milk, lime and salt I think. Supposed to be very hard and last a lot longer than bully sticks. I've been curious because I've been seeing a lot of deals for these but want to know if they are worth the money. www.himalayandogchew.com/

Luca loved those. I only found out about them shortly before he passed. I'm trying to remember if they lasted longer than bully sticks....I don't think much longer. They do tend to crumble a bit so you have to be careful your dog isn't trying to chew on/gulp down large chunks, but they are a yummy and healthy treat that I recommend (given only under supervision).
That's my PSA on Himalayan chews lol

I used to get them for Saxon and he really loved them, they lasted about as long as a bully stick. I used to get them for him every once in a while. Then one time a few days after I gave him one, he puked up something hard. I didn't know what it was so I just sort of dismissed it and kept an eye on him. Then the next time I gave him one, the same thing happened. I realized that he was swallowing the last little bit and it wasn't passing. It sat in his stomach for a couple of days then he puked it up. Poor buddy. That said, a lot of dogs seem to do really well on them, we sell a lot of them at PDog and get very few complaints.

My guys love these. And since Roxy can't have beef, they are a great alternative to a bully stick. The first time she had one, it took a while for her to eat. She got progressively faster, but I've noticed that with other dogs and bully sticks as well.
Buster isn't allowed to eat them.... Or bully sticks, or anything stick-shaped because he eats chunks and pukes them up allllll over the house. But everyone was a fan of them and they did last a decent amount of time. They were the only thing I could consider an alternative to a bully stick as far as length of time occupying a dog. We did always buy the x large or giant ones though. And Roxy is 50lbs... Just for reference. The very first time we ordered the large and I remember them going too fast.
