Is it me, or is it creepier that it is just an ordinary Raggedy Ann doll? Like if I saw a huge scarey porcelain doll (like in the movie) I know for a fact there is no way in heck that thing is getting into my home. My a normal Raggedy Ann doll woudln't really make you look twice. Something so freaking scary about that!

I agree, I think the Raggedy Ann is way scarier. The doll in the movie was made to look evil and scary. Mundane objects that look innocent but are actually not are waaaay scarier, IMO.

Omg this is soooo creepy!!! I havent worked up the courage to watch The Conjuring yet. I love scary movies...Zombie movies whatever, but demonic movies take it to another level and kinda cross a line. Yikes!!

AmyJo, I get what you say about demonic movies being some of the scariest. Slasher pics are fun, but for some reason I always felt like potentially getting possessed by a demon or something is way more likely to happen than some undead guy in a ski mask coming at me (at a slow walk no less!lol)
Something about possessions (with so many accounts of it throughout history)...I don't know, just creepier.
Also, watch The Conjuring. Watch it with all your dogs around, it will make you feel safer that way lol

Just an extra bit:
I'm Dominican (I was born here in the US, but thats my background). The island shares its space with Haiti, I grew up hearing about zombies in a different light than people who grew up knowing zombies from movies. Zombies do freak me out because of all the stories I've heard of bokors creating zombies with special powders and liquids...scary stuff.

I agree about the demonic thing. I watch any movie about demons, because those are usually the only types of movies that give me some sort of scare. Every so often a slasher type movie freaks me out, but usually not (except for Michael Myers....I'm scare of Michael Myers....)

I know a LITTLE about Haiti/zombies. It's kind of like how I was raised in a very Catholic household and was always taught that demons and possessions are real, so I think that's why demonic movies scare the crap out of me.
