Thanks everyone! She definitely had a rough life, she is afraid of simple things until she investigates them and certain movements make her cower and run. I cant treat her wounds just yet as when i try she freaks out and runs:(she saw the horses tonight and feels the same way rufus does unfortunately and set off both dogs when she went charging to the fence tonight- it was dark out so i am hoping she will be better with them in saylight. She needs durgery in her mouth as she has a growth so rescue is getting prices

ME, I have to say you've inspired me to make all future adoptions senior dogs. Of course, that won't happen until Sedona is gone (assuming Lola and Rocky go first) but I can see me spending my senior years with senior dogs.

Awe thanks dave! After fostering puppies for so long and young adults i really prefer the 8 and over crowd lol.. They are really enjoyable and can act puppiyish without being a puppy(except when they think horse is a delicacy lol). I really hope her temperment stays once she is better as she is really sweet

Sierra update- both growths removed 12/5/13 and are benign. She is officially on petfinder and is up for adoption. She gets along with inside cats, kids, dogs, all humans and is an easy keeper. She appreciates the comforts of an INSIDE home. Unfortunately the only downside is she has to be on temeril p pills for life , low dosage once a day due to her entire life living outside she developd allergies due to a immune system that was weakened by constant fleas. At only .88 cents a day its still cheap
She reallly is a great dog and deserves a great forever home

Sierra list 4 lbs since i got her in november,i feed her a little over3 cups of merrick plus one can a day . She is more active now runs around outside with sadie , so i am thinking since she isnt laying around on a chain anymore and is maybe more active thats the reason, we also found a lump on her shoulder area today, its a weird lump so i am going to keep an eye on it and go from there...she might wind up here permanently

Sierra was adopted!!!!! We kept her . Papers are all signed and she is officially home!!!! Just call me crazy lol . I really think Honey steered her to me, there were alot of seniors i could have fostered but none of them felt right, when i saw her pic and post it just felt right
