Why is there sooooo much drama in the rescue world?!?!?
I really dont understand it. I would THINK anyone to heavily involved in rescue work is out of high school, why dont they act like it???
I FINALLY submitted my papers so I can advertise my rescue dogs on Pet Finder. Facebook is just too much drama.
Had a big, well known rescue jump me for taking in 'bully breeds'. They are in a town with BSL and the director is a complete nazi of the dog world.
Woke up to a lovely email from her chewing me out about bringing more 'vicious' dogs into the area (Theyre an hour away). Went back and forth with her for awhile before I wrote it off as a lost cause ONLY to have more drama on a Facebook group over a Cocker Spaniel that is living in the cold and in desperate need of help.
I could just about explode!

WTF??? put it on Facebook ;-) LOL! Seriously though, I feel your frustration. I stayed off FB for the most part for months and was much better for it. Somehow I always get into meaningless arguments when I'm on there now. I really need to get back to minding my own business on my own little newsfeed. I just made a comment on a page yesterday that I'm already regretting. Sorry some jerk who hates bull breeds had to harass you, AmyJo. Rescue work is brutal and doing it on FB can make it even more so.
