I thought I was finally going to get a dog out of NYACC before it contracted KC and before it was on the euth list. Ray (a Pit Bull mix?)came in with another dog named Amy, they were both temp tested the same day, but only Amy went to adoptions. Three days after they were tested I had a rescue contact the shelter to get his status and found out that Ray had aced his temperament test. We decided to get him out ASAP. He was scheduled to be neutered on Monday and be ready for pickup that evening. Got the phone call noon Monday to just go get him - no surgery. A volunteer's photo shortly after he arrived. The now skinny dog we picked up along with the antibiotics for KC he should have started five days earlier.

Aww, what a cute little cow dog! Any thoughts on what he is mixed with? Not a clue. Even when he gets up to a good weight I don't expect him to reach 40 lbs. He has long legs, neck, and tail: fur is fine and soft: very narrow at the shoulders and hips.
