we got 6 chicks , 3 bantam and 3 sex links, these are the bantams and these are the sex links both good egg layers( I wanted egg layers and bill wanted cute funny entertaining chicks lol) they also eat ticks, bugs, grubs etc.. they will stay in the house until they get all their adult feathers in and we build a coop for them. so they are living in our one spare bedroom for now lol... each set has their own tub as the sex links are over twice the size as the bantams so we have to keep them separate for now. they are cute and fun, and each one has its own personality and I am officially nuts..... I have a double gate up so the dogs cant get them, they don't even care about the chirping which is good, but when we first brought them home Sierra wanted to eat them and Rufus was trying to figure out what they were lol.

Well one chick died,so now we have 3 sex links and 2 bantams. The bantams are not a good batch and are super tiny. Hopefully they will survive . They are work, fresh food and water every day, clean bedding every other day, and holding to socialize:) Their peeps are adorable. I have a double gate up high so the dogs cant get in.

well I had to separate the bantams. the larger one is bullying the smaller one and it isn't letting it eat. so I put the big one with the links and the little one is by itself to hopefully catch up
some videos of the larger chicks all together now. ill still keep an eye on the big bantam to make sure the links don't bully it. figures I get an asshole chicken- I have an asshole dog (rufus) now an asshole bird lol
bantam meeting first link
and the bantam and 3 links

The bantam batch were bad, this new batch are much healthier. Now the chicks are all acting like a family, the new ones are little puffballs with black spots lol
