Neighborhood pit bulls.

A neighbor of mine aquired a pit bull from Mexico and bred her to another pit here.
I guess he found homes for the pups. I found out he kept one for his 4 yr old daughter.
The pup kept getting loose last week. I was leaving for a meeting last Thurs when I saw the pup out. I stopped my car and got out intending to knock on the door. Mama pit bull was chained on the porch so I was unable to get to the door. I had treats in my car so I got a few and made friends. I made a couple calls and shortly after the owner arrived.
I have had so many discussions with this person.

Puppy was friendly and didnt get barkey until we got around mama.

Cute pup, it's so nice that you are trying to help. I'm guessing this is one of those situations where the help falls on mostly deaf ears?? :/

There are soooo many Pit Bulls in my town. I used to have the only ones, now I've lost count of how many there are. Thankfully, there haven't been any problems. There is a big blue guy that used to get loose often but I haven't seen him in several years so I'm not sure he's even still around. People used to knock on my door when he was loose, thinking he was Luca because they looked so similar. I went chasing after him once with my neighbor but he was super skittish and evaded us and finally vanished.
