So now we're handing out life prison sentences for canines. I find it inhumane to defang a dog.
It sucks to have to say that the money spent keeping this dog alive could have saved how many
adoptable pit bulls? Or went to a spay and neuter clinic, or dog training or education outreach...

Yeah, this is the really short sighted sort of activism that drives me crazy. It's not even like this dog was saved and will live out a nice life in a decent sanctuary or with an educated dog person. No, let's put him in prison and defang him (which I also find inhumane) and let him rot away thanks to that nutcase Arpaio.
