Oh man, I know exactly what you mean!! I can't stand when people refer to AP or CM like they are God and therefore they know what they are talking about cuz they watched something on TV. It's very frustrating trying to get people to understand that these shows are entertainment, NOT education. But if it's on TV, it must be "right" and hearing something from a professional, a shelter/rescue worker who knows what they are doing, etc, face to face just doesn't seem to have the same impact as hearing something from CM or some dummy on AP.
