One-third more pit bulls enter than the next highest intake breed type."I think finding housing with a Pit Bull is def an issue in terms of relinquishment, just based on the emails RPB gets (not scientific, just anecdotal, but it makes sense). Besides housing, the other big reason we see for relinquishment is behavioral (dog-directed aggression, overall not being able to handle the breed, etc).
